Wow, that beak is all business, isn't it? And just look at that powerful musculature! He is a young, handsome lad.

Excellent capture of detail and coloration, lovely bokeh, and I love that pop of red on the pole.

Good shot, Jeff; I can hear his melodious song in my head, the Meadowlark being our state bird (along with Kansas, Montana, your state of Nebraska, Oregon, and Wyoming... a very popular bird).
