Parents of a young man at church heard that I've taught several people to drive over the years and asked if I could teach their son. He is turning out to be one to the better teenagers I've taught. I told him early on that if I'm going to spend time teaching him, then we are going to go exploring. He's been basically in the city since he came. This spot is only 30 minutes away from Omaha, but it has unmatched views of the Missouri river valley. We are in Iowa and the hills in the distance are in Nebraska. To get to this spot, you have to park at the base of a line of bluffs, and then take a steep trail up to the top. Driving teachers have to take several breathers on the way, but it is worth it.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

There seems to be the need of a breather caused by the beauty of the scene at the end of the trail too.

A breathtaking view indeed, Jeff. I've enjoyed (and still enjoy) both your wonderful capture and narrative!
