Really a superb close up capture Leslie. Love teh effects the subdued sun creates on you shot. Beautiful

Nice colours. I was asked to comment so I will be honest. I would prefer to see more of the flower, at least part of the centre would make a more pleasing picture. But of course, it's just one person's opinion.

:) I think this is the first time in the history of the world an artist attempted to photograph the back of a flower. fascinating textures; however... the colors here are perfect and finished: good composition in terms of them; but overall effect is as if something's missing down at the bottom. Maybe more reddish-brown shadows are necessary, even though it'd make the image more square. oh, and I love the green leaf going off to the side: delightfully unexpected.
