Magnolia blossoms are so sculptural, almost architectural. I love that about them. Getting a good angle on something that likes to grow well over my head and getting good light on something that needs careful delineation of white on white... those challenges have left me with a lot of bad magnolia pix. This one turned out okay, I think. No ex-im data for it at the moment, sorry. The HD the original image's on has crapped out on me. If the data recovery gods cough it up, I'll come back and post the ex-im. Shot very, very early in the morning, hence the almost monochromatic look to it. Thanks very much for taking a look.

Superbly captured! Only the slight crop of the petal on the right keeps it from absolute perfection in my eye. Beautiful photo.

Absolutely beautiful flower and beautiful shot. My only criticism (and it is a small one) is that you had focused on the center petal.

Gorgeous! They don't grow where I live so while on vacation I tried a few shots of magnolia. Hope mine turned out as well as this!
