On the Day of the Windmills (yesterday) we get the opportunity to climb the mills; eight long narrow ladders in this building from 1770. This is halfway, on the gallery, where the miller thoughtfully roped off the area where people might get hit by the wings. And when you are here, you realize that you should have had a filmcamera: there's the rapid succession of sun and shadow because of the fast-turning wings, the creaking of the old wood, the flapping of the sails and the whistling of the wind. But you'll have to make-do with this picture. Enjoy!

You did well with the shifting light here, and you also managed to take me to a place I would probably never have been.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
