Love it Fae...fiery, tormenting, dramatic...besides, I like cats and used to have a black one much like this...great work...very creative...saving this one in my favs and top marks.:Pat.
My wife and I are "ooohing" over this. Wow! Your work has really taken off over the past few weeks. What a difference now than when you began. I'm an artist with years of experience (painting, judging shows, etc.) - so believe me when I tell you that you have incredible talent. Keep plugging away at it. I think you're in the same class as my daughter, Rachael, and I think she's pretty darn talented (no fatherly bias here, either :) Are you going to pursue a career in art? I think you ought to look at it seriously.
Hehe, thankyou everyone...
It's alright, Nathan...you have a right to be baised where your daughter is concerned ^_^
And yes, I am hoping to persue a career in art, although I'm worried that I won't get a decent job out of it since there are many talented artist out there I'll have to compete with...
My God, that is one frightening image. Very cool though, the flames look so real, and er, uh..Hellish. I love the cat too, though, being the owner of four of them myself. I've always had a peticular fondness for black cats, though, they just seem so noble and mysterious.
Well, let me clarify what I said in my last post, what I meant was that I own four cats right now. None of them is actually a solid black cat. One is black and white, and his name is Oreo, Clyde is a dark grey longhair, Butterscotch is, well, that's the color of his fur, Sally, my oldest is about 13 years old, and is white with orange patches. I like them all a lot, though, I wish I had a pure black cat.
I might have to get photo shop instead I like the flame looks in Paint shop Pro they are not as real looking... another very awesome peice of work Fae...
this is totally wonderful, however, to tell the truth i had higher hopes when i saw the thumb. not because of quality, just the cat and butterfly wings dont really work for me. i'd expected to see a hooded figgure, and the butterfly wings dont fit in, if you get what im saying. also i think the lightning would be better if it were more dispersed, ie less bright and thick, but more little lines, like a static ball. i really like the burst and the castle tho, although, a source such as a supernova or something like that would really top this off, as long as it doesnt distract too much from the rest. sorry for so many personal critiques, i just found the thumb really inspiring.
Hey that's alright ^_^
I love to hear other people's opinions and stuff...I was thinking of doing somekind of hooded figure but I couldn't find a good enough photo, and this cat was too gorgeous to ignore :D
Thankyou both for the comments!
The butterfly wings didn't work for me either. However, notwithstanding that, this is a great piece of work. I like what you have done with it - nice spooky tower.

Thanks Matthew...yeah I know the butterfly wings are a bit dodgy...I really should have found some that better suited the theme, but still...can't change it now :P
Thanks for commenting ^_^
This is a beautiful dark image, the color look good, that is a cat there right? The castle is a nice addition to, great job on this, I hope to see more like this!
Whew! That's got to be one of the best composits I have seen. I agree with some commentators above about the butterfly wing. It doesn't fit. The flames....well, I just took my sweater off. The cat eyes give me chills (I just put my sweater back on). That building on the left...it's so eerie I don't want to go near it. I'm outa here.
Oh by the way, did I say it's a faaaaaantastic rendering?
Pat.
Found this one in your gallery and took a shine to it...Fae...you have a talent and creativity (Not to mention Photoshop Guru status! - LOL) that will definitely take you places...if it hasn't already! Great work on this one...favs list stuff for sure!
