If you did it over again, you could cover the eye with your hair completely, to add a mysterious look to it, or try to get it without the hair in your eye. Either way it would improve it just a tad. With the hair only slightly over the eye, the picture looks a bit off balance.
But the quality is good, and the pose is cute without being seductive or dark. It focuses on the talent and natural beauty of the subject without resorting to such tricks. Good job!
No I also think the hair's a nice touch. It contrasts well with the uncovered eye and sharply arching brow. You did a good job too with the background - dark - that isolates your face and gives a mysterious atmosphere to the image - and black and white was a good choice of media too. You look quite lovely.

My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.

I love this one a lot,
Don't mind the hair, in fact I find it a great addition to an already very nice pose,
Well executed,
