I really like the gradation of 'dark' to 'light' from left to right. Rather fitting to your creature here, conceptually, to my eyes and mind.

Very interesting. Very feirce facial expression. I think it's would be better without the nudity, like it is here. More focus on the face and the work you did on the expression.
