This was inspired by some random fantasy film me and my Mum were watching the other week...can't really remember much about the film except it was seriously cringe-worthy! Anyway, with this one I tried to not be lazy and paint with a bit more precision than I usually do :) Ooh, and mustn't forget...I used a few fabulous custom brushes from HERE ...one day I will make more of my own! x x x

You have an incredible talent and are well developed for someone so young. Use it wisely. What software did you use in this composition? Beautiful work!!

I've been away too long. You've really stepped up your game. A meticulous and heartfelt portrait. If only we could actually be where our art takes us.

Lastly, the branches growing out of her head reminded me of this old cartoon:

Trite as the following may sound, it holds true..

'One of your best.. yet.'

I can almost recognize the actor portrayed. (For the life of me the movie's title escapes me, hence ... the 'almost' bit.)

And I can't help but notice that your proportions are better, particularly where the eyes are concerned.

Mind you, and having said that ... I always enjoyed your fantastical creations of.. erhm ... yore, yeah that's it ... yore.

:oP

Beautiful work, Fae. Thanks for sharing this one with us. :o)

Fantastic work with this illustration. Nice details, colours and shading in the image. I love the work you've done in the eyes and the facial expression. Very nicely done.
