Having played around with a similar idea in Apo, I appreciate how difficult something so simple actually is. You've demonstrated a nicely restrained judgement in producing this final image, so it does look like the real thing. One question, on my screen some of the stars seem entirely white at their centres, particularly noticeable at full size, for some reason it feels "not right" to my eye while my mind is telling me "of course stars are pure white". Maybe this is one of those times that adding a slight hint of colour, which might be "inaccurate" might actually look more accurate. If you know what I mean?
