The additional editing/post processing (a tutorial by philcUK, namely; "Faking the HDR thing...") provided a nice assist in bringing out a lil' more detail and increasing the contrast/deepening the shadows.
This is a stunning shot, the effect of the shadow on this photo is dramatic and the colors add to the beauty of this image. I consider this a favorite, compliment to Raphael for knowing this would make a tremendous capture.
