Just took a quick tour of your galleries to date, you have a good good eye for composition. As exemplified with your photo here.
The positioning/placement of the dominant bloom works well.
Caveats?
Background is a tad busy. A tad.
Which, could easily be corrected by adjusting the DOF some. Rendering more of the background 'blurred' would serve to heighten the focus on the prize of your image.
Or, perhaps ... get closer.
Good good colour and exposure. Certainly a fresh look and feel.
Smile?
Sure.

And for that, I thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)
A gorgeous gerbera daisy ... I love it's color. I agree with Les above ... the background is a tad busy. He gave you some good tips & I can't add anything to it at the moment. Nice composition, lighting, & details though. Well done, Rich & thanks for sharing.
@purmusic: Thank you for the feedback. To be honest with you I had not considered "blurring" the background. I will play with my F/S a bit the next time I compose something similar to this photo. ~Rich
@danika: Thanks for the comments as well, much appreciated!
A well focused shot. Perhaps you could get a little closer or crop the shot so that the flower has its fair share of the shot. Also a dark and blurred background will make the flower "pop". Right now the background is relatively well focused which draws the eye away from the beautiful flower.
