I'm getting all of your shots in the VB; so if your C-Index seems excessive on your recent postings, you can blame me. As soon as I finish with the VB, I'll be heading over to the Discussion Board to find out why the VB images are not full sized. I used to post on Flickr, but the screen size was inexcusably miniscule; so I dropped out. Critiques are very difficult when you can't see the shot. Just as flaws show up at full screen size, so does beauty.
Checking out your gallery I see a propensity to post portrait view images instead of landscape view. On this particular posting, a landscape view would have improved the final image immensely. I've been told that the amount of sky should be minimized unless it adds drama to the shot. In this shot 50% of the screen is sky blue negative space. This shot has all of the makings of a 9, but I chopped that score in half because of the sky which is a total distraction from the beautiful architectural photography and the splendid reflection.
