The Red Crowned Crane latin name "Grus Japonensis" is a large bird. It is the second rarest crane in the world and is found in Korea, Japan and China. The red patch on its head becomes bright red when the crane is angry or excited. So here you can see that it was not excited to see me :)

I guess you have recently visited Korea, Japan or China, huh, Raj? LOL. That is a gorgeous bird. I like his little red hat. LOL. Excellent clarity, lighting and color, Raj. Well done.

I think he's looking for his fiver Raj. It was probably a tip.
He does take care of the luggage at the airport doesn't he?

Excellent capture.

Wonderful shot of this endangered Crane Raj, although we sometimes think keeping creatures in a Zoo is cruel, we must remember they often play an important role in the survival of the species.

Fine bird, fine capture.
What a good idea to have an 'angry' indicator. :)
