Mr & Mrs Mallard look very happy to be admiring such lovely tulips. Great colour and light and would be a worthy contest entry.
Tiptoe through the tulips :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Have you investigated if they are monogamous or not, dear Raj?
I have a very strong feeling that they are. Maybe because there is one single male walking sadly [yes, walking] around the nearest square in my vicinity. Last year they were two.
Lovely birds and I wish Boris felt more kindly about/towards them too:)

Love is blooming, Raj.
Tell SAM they are not Monogamous, they are Mallards. :)

Would make a good entry, Raj...spring brings love and flowers...very sweet to see he took the missus out to enjoy these ones...I never knew mallards could be so romantic, LOL.

Although they flew 'Business Class', it was a long and tiring trip to the 'Keukenhof' for them, lol.

Your image has all aspects of Spring, so it would be a good entry indeed, Raj.

Regards, Cornelius.

You've caught the words of the song perfectly Raj. "Ducks do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it - They fall in love!" (With apologies for the word change)

I think the male is trying to think of something to say to the female. I'm sure he came up with the right words to woo her! LOL. Great looking spring shot, and another good one for the contest, Raj.
