Think (so I'm not sure, ☺) it's a part of a device for remote control. I'm curious for the solution. Very apt entry for the 'What is this' contest. Good Luck with it, my friend!

I'm with Cornelius and Tic on this one Raj - first look, I immediately thought it was some sort of remote controller - Good one - Good Luck in the current contest!!!!!!!!!!
It looks like a type of quick-release plate for something... maybe a small tripod head for a small camera? You press in on the two sides to release the button in the middle? The round "button" near the top and the rectangular one at the bottom are out-of-focus, so that means they stick up further than the rest of the object. Hmmmmm (that's me, thinking...).
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
It's a.....thing! It's a......picture. It's a ........something. It's a.................complete and utter mystery!!!!!!!!!! No idea Raj. This is most unusual. Love it:)
Looks like a manual controller for something. It could be a robot, a drone, a Mars lander, a ceiling fan, a computer game. The only problem is if you search for these, none of them look right. We'll just have to wait for the answer.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Sorry Raj can't help you the photographs field of focus is very shallow and blurred in places so I can't discern precise details. Or perhaps you deliberately blurred sections yourself. Guessing I'd say it's either a computer mouse, game control or some sort of mariners navigation unit. You produce some fine work Raj (o: and hope you aren't offended by my valid critique.
This is Phlossys sixth comment folks and please don't stone me for being honest, thank you.
Progress equals a trashed planet since mankind is too busy altering it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Enjoy yourself today (o: because you don't know what tomorrow may bring.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I can see that the button will spring open the bottom and sides!...
Saying that..........I haven't a clue...so good luck!
