This was taken from my window 3 days ago. The square structures you see in front are the chimneys of the single storied flat rooftop bungalows there. It is difficult to clone them out.
The late day Golden Hour is usually touted as one of the best time of day to shoot photographs, but Ill take early morning light and color any time I can. Along with the dead of light, in the wee hours, mornings give me my best results. All this is obvious by the sky and silhouetted trees in this shot, although I probably would have cropped off the homes to make the image a pano. Just a thought.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Raj, I agree with you that cloning out the chimneys and the flat rooftops would have been a 'mission impossible'. The by 'Nik' done suggestion to crop this image, had 'destroyed' the character of your composition. Given the conditions, to me you've achieved the best possible result. Anyhow a very fine sunset image!
