My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Such gorgeous colour and detail - a perfect image to post on a Sunday. It's always wonderful to see different interiors of churches from around the world
Sorry, Raj, but whenever I see an image like this, the chant of the monks in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" always comes to mind, unbidden as it were. "Pie Iesu domine, dona eis requiem". Rather like laughing during a funeral, sneezing on the Thanksgiving turkey, a rabbit turn on top of a bowl of vanilla ice cream... it shouldn't happen, but there it is.
You must have been in the balcony to get this shot at this angle or this close. Nice details, particularly on the face. Looks like a wee bishop in there (or a saint, perhaps).
