This photo was taken about 9 years ago during a visit to Kerala, India. My wife and I stayed in this hotel complex. This bungalow has two units each with sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. It is built on the outside in the old Kerala style and inside modern. It was very nice. We took boat rides in the canals etc. This and a few other photos were in the bin unnoticed.

Wonderful capture. Until I started taking more photos on our trips, I never envisioned that looking back at them I would have the same satisfying thoughts of our experience there. Your composition and details here are, as always, superb.

Looks quite pleasant, Raj. I'm imagining how peaceful it might have been, sitting outside in the evening with the sound of the wind through the palm branches (I'm remembering my US Navy time among them when I was stationed in the Pacific).
