I find this to be a remarkable piece: the manipulation gives it the feel of another time and distortion-something you speak of in the poem; I also like the colouring the subject matter and though it has an air of sadness, it is also enlightening.well done! DID you mean to create that face inside arc at upper left?? It may be simply an effect caused by branches but looks like a face looking down at tombstones...anyway, putting into favorites.
Remarkable indeed & into my faves it goes too :)... The manip says exactly the same thing as the poem, intensifying the "sad & lost" feeling & adding another dimension to it. Now i just can't w8 to get on "the other side" :P... Amazing job u did here, gz :D
Fascinating manip. Very complex ideas interwoven between the image and the poetry inscribed. When one door closes another opens as they say. I like the parallel between the distortion of the door and the crystal clear view through it. I agree wholeheartedly with the prose.
I admire when people put themselves out there and really be original..and this is no exception. I think including the poetry with the image only enhances one another....it gives the image a meaning and the poetry a scene. Keep 'em coming!!!
This is the kind of style amazing work i never knew was on this site. A good poem mixed with an even better photo. The manipulation gives it great depth, and i like the distorting effect a lot. excellent work.
