I was fascinated by the natural textures and patterns on these cliffs. Taken at Hunstanton, a coastal town in Norfolk, on the East coast of UK.

Hi Jaquie, A very interesting image taking one deep into the early formation of the earth.

Hey Jacquie,

As Rocks they travel around the world,
As birds they not sure where to settle,
They turn red and black,
But they will never turn alive,

Nice pattern indeed,
I like the horizontal lines a lot,
Beautifully done,

Thanks for sharing
Tim

A very interesting picture, especially in the brown area -- I've never seen natural patterns like those before. Can you tell us where you took this photo, and a little more about the place?

Perfect show of textures here!! Its an abstract shot, but you still get the natural feeling from it. Very nicely done!!

Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.

so many thousands of years it took to produce the layers...and in an instant you have conqured it all...
