A mated pair of swans who reside in the pond at Paul Bunyan Nature Learning Center (too long of a name... PBNLC...) in the summer... You can get so close to them... The nearer of the two is called Rex and his mate is Gracie. As always, any comment is welcome.

Jen: I think the Majestic Pair is your best work thus far. The clarity of both the swans and the water is outstanding. Did you use a polarizing or some other filter to obtain such a deep blue for the water? The only thing I can see that might have improved the shot somewhat is possibly having some water visible in front of the foreground swan, thus showing the entire body. Of course you may not have had that opportunity if they were right at the shoreline.

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

Swans are so beautiful aren't they? You can visit my gallery to see some of my swan images if you would like?

nice shot, i think i would have placed the swans a bit higher, on the other hand the small stripe of the shore is great!.

These swans are exquisite. Wonderful capture! Love the upclose view - they look close enough for me to touch them. Even their neck feathers stand out. The water is a wonderful shade of blue. Thanks for these proud beauties.....
