I always welcome constructive critique.
I have been asked to comment on your image and I have to admit this is a tough one to judge. I know what you were intending to show and that this is darker than what you actually saw. The best film camera has a resolution of 30:1, the best digital 40:1 and the human eye 800:1. Since there is no fix for this except to see it in person, I'll just say nice work and thanks for sharing it with us. I left a short reply originally. I was pretty sick at the moment and should have waited until I could be more thorough in my reponse. Again, nice work.

A incredible view, in holland, where i live, we can not see the borealis, it is a pitty indeed.
