Really beautiful with the contrasts of reds and oranges almost a gradient across the sky...great job yet its like me a bit scary but hey I like scary :D
Seeds of contentment bring harvests of peace. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
This one takes my breath away....and everyone knows I have a lot of hot air..lol..the clarity on here is excellent, and the DOF is good, but understated as the foreground is dark, as it should/would be, making an excellent frame The other unusual thing about this sunset take is that the subject is actually not the setting sun, which is artfully hidden by the foliage, but the marvelously tinted clouds that reflect it perfectly :) And your title makes it abundantly clear that we're not interested in watching the sun set..we're much more interested in watching how it's transforming the sky. Indeed, the clouds as they dance along the sky in their diagonal angle remind one of the tongues of a fire as they flicker across the bottom with the purest of gold, then soften and cool a little while progressively merging at the top with the dark blue of the incoming twilight . In my faves :)PJ
Very very very nice job you've done here. Have you taken more than one photo ? The dark part brings a lot here but I would also like to see another pic with less dark and more of this amazing sky :)
