Tme passes by like birds upon wings,
Some days it flies slow, some days it speeds,
Yet it passes you by and one hears what it sings,
Of Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring.
Your perspective is unique here, and I've taken some on my stomach too :) but, my dear, that's for after the leaves have fallen...I'm not ready to get my rake out yet..lol...it's a very nice submission with the colors on the ground, gone by and waiting for the grounds crew to come in and clean up before the snow flies...actually I've seen a few lawns that are covered like this already ....there are always those trees who insist on shedding before we've had time to fully appreciate their beauty. These crisp tan and gold leaves look like they could be white birch leaves, and I have a few of those myself. In your composition they add interest to the still green background and the dark wishing well placed so carefully in your presentation. I like to think of that wishing well as a place where I can go and wish for many more weeks of brilliant color, as my camera and I have looked forward to these fleeting days of color for a long while now...very nice post.. :)PJ
