I think it's a good good shot, clarity is great.

But if I may....

It's a tad to dark on the head around the eye and it needs some cropping, so the focus will be more on the bird than on the bushes.

Just some thoughts here... :o)

The clarity and presentation of this little guy is great. I have to agree...it is just a tad bit on the dark side.

I agree with the above comments - crop off about the bottom 1/3 of your shot and brighten slightly for a much better presentation.

I will have to say I agree with the above statements, but I will also had that I love that you managed to keep the bird and all of the branch he was on in focus creating a soft background. Hard thing to do when you're shooting animals ;) Good Work.

I have a heck of a time with any sort of wildlife photography. I assume that you have a telephoto lens. If the photo was black, it'd be better than any wildlife shot I've taken. Some of the shots in your gallery are amazing. Probably 6 out of 10 in the VB.
