The first time I went to New York, I wanted a shot of the wonderful fire escapes. I searched all over the island and came up with this one. I have been back since but still rate this as my favourite. The colours and shapes make it for me.

I like this. I think it's a neat find. You've composed it very well with light, shadows, and your centering of the shot. The fire escape is interesting itself but I love the building color and architectural trim too. I also enjoyed viewing the variety in the window coverings.

Saw this in featured images and thought it was a great presentation. I love the angle you chose and the composition. The clarity and coloring were perfect. I too liked the shadow play on the wall. Excellent photo.
