This was taken either last year or the year before, can't remember exactly, but wanted to post it and see what you think of this cool frozen water in this nice pond.

I like it, nicely presented...I think I would perhaps have really cropped it down though and just focused on the icy pond. The grass in the backround doesn't do a lot for me and tends to distract the eye. Just my personal taste of course.

I think it is interesting to see the contrast Mother Nature presents to us with the greens of the grass with the snow and ice. However, imho, I agree with Rich. A tighter shot of the icy pond and rocks would have made a very interesting photo as well.

-10 very cold? lol for us here in Northern Canada, it is a mild winter day! Most of our winter days average about -20 C. This is lovely!

Very beautiful shot of this lovely frozen pond. I too like the contrast between the green grass and the ice. Not such a fan of the border though.

Good shot!.. the green border doesn't look very good.... i suggest using a white border because the image has more white than green. Keep up The good work..:)
