I like your title for this photo. And the idea is good. The sun is a bit bright and the sky has so much white, it's hard not to have that happen when the sun is that bright..but all in all it was a good try. Try again maybe, with the sun not being quite so bright, it will change the sky thing too. I like taking photos on overcast days at times, it's a natural filter that softens things just right. Definately a beautiful time of the day. I have to agree with
Verena though. Thank-you for sharing.

When shooting into the sun, you're usually better off locking your exposure reading on a sky area to minimize large blown highlight areas.
You can recover detail from darker/shadow areas, but there's not much you can do with vastly over-exposed highlights.
You can still darken this down a bit with a Brightness or Gamma control, and a touch of Contrast.
Your camera manual should be able to tell you how to lock the exposure on a target and recompose the image. Usually it's just a matter of aiming at a point and depressing your shutter release "Half Way",... then without releasing the shutter button, re-compose and finish pressing the shutter button the rest of the way.
In this instance, where you have major detail in the foreground, locking exposure and focus on the brightest grass the sun's rays are hitting will give you much better depth of field to retain detail in the foreground.
