Study of shapes and sounds, framed in context. This image doesn't represent the scale well, but the drop is about 6'. The location is a bit unusual as it is the confluence of two discrete rivers both terminating with two waterfalls forming a common river therafter. This has not been recoloured.

What'a wonderful weir! great choice with the border, love the subtle results you've achieved through blur. But what really attracted my attention is what appears to be an optical illuision, i dont know if its just too late at night/early in the morning but the image above looks bowed outwards making it appear like a slightly curved tv screen.

This is so different you get high votes from me just for peeking my curiosity let alone creating that awesome liquid gold. Super choice of border too.

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

I love the color and the real time motion and the frame is well coordinated, but I think this one would look better full screen, no border. Great shot, Rob!

Hi Rob, absolutely stunning. The word astonishment comes to mind. It makes one feel rather insignificant, doesn't it! Good job!! It appears as though it is more then a six ft drop, which your angling made possible! High marks from me! Sincerely, Marilyn

what a breathtaking image! the colours look magical.. especially the golden shade. i'm not a huge fan of frames.. but i have discovered recently that a great artist can improve the image by using gorgeous borders like this one! i wish i had been there..
thank you for sharing this spectacular image with us! :)

Not crazy about the border, but a good shot anyway.
