When the white man discovered this
country, Indians were running it.
No taxes no debt, women did all the work.
White man thought he could improve on a system like this.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! this is sooooooooooo lovely! You know ME and cars!! Gosh I wish they made them NOW like they used to THEN...what is this one? Is it a Mercury? or a Ford of some kind? Just am not totally sure...my Dad always had Fords...then later I got a chevy once and then fords and then pontiacs..and now I have my Cougar...so tell me..please? what is it???But I sure love how you took this pic...is it YOUR car??????????
Good morning Rob
Dash, this must age me - I remember when nearly every car looked like this - refined, proud worksmanship, evident solidity. Only, there's something wrong with the perspective here - <innocently> shouldn't the steering wheel be on the right side, not the left side of the car?
<laughing, ducks thrown ball of paper>

Great photo. But you gotta tell me what this car is........... I know they don't make cars like this anymore. Not with an all steel dash. What is throwing me off is the emblem on the steering wheel of North & South America. I can't quite figure it out.

Very Nice! I appreciate Vintage artifacts of All kinds, and I like how you Focused on a Small area of Detail, instead of Trying to Incorporate the "all"... Very Thoughtful!
