I read recently that urben photography has become one of the latest top arts in some areas in the world. I guess seeing images like this can add up some thought to that. This urben landscape is captured with good light and balance. By not showing any building as a complete structure you have add more value to the theme, and used glass as the key element. Good work!
I like the comp on this Rob.The straight lines with the wavey reflected lines in the bands work well together. The different colors in the buildings blend very well together too but I bet that this would be a great photo in Black and White also.
Rob, the three main elements in your photo make this a most intriquing shot. Your composition leads my eye right to the heart of the mattter. I'm partial to architectural photos but I'm not biased in any way <w>. Good job! - Patty
I think I've seen this view before.. Ottawa, right? I seem to recall taking a pic of something very similar (in Ottawa) a few years back. Very nicely composed, Rob. One small change I (might've) made.. use the "perspective" feature in CS2 crop... to bend in the upper left corner.. but it's way minor, and not necessary.. just sharing a thought more than anything. Cool post!
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
