Incredible that it even exists in this world; incredible that you captured it so beautifully. It is so stunning. The top/bottom border work in this picture. The strata of light, terrain and clouds give so much to look at. My desktop for today, so thank you!
Beautiful colors and panoramic view, Rob...I haven't been this far out west so thanks for sharing the splendour of our Canadian Rockies...great capture.:Pat.
chukar22: Did I have to climb far? Not really..just up a few stairs to the gondola! ;) A 8 minute cable ride to the top of the mountain and a 360 degree view of mountains on all sides. Beautiful.
What a breath taker. It must have been a wonderful climbing. The picturesque panorama you were so kind to provide us with will definitely stay at my desktop for a long time. Thank you.
This picture just leaves me in aw...Fabulous capture and the overall view is incredible...what a beautiful place we live in...The snowcap mountains and the billowing clouds just touching and the color of the sky make for a fantastic image. GREAT work.
A fantastic image - I hope you wrapped up warm! The framing adds to the effect somehow, but I'm not quite sure how :S All in all, a marvelous photograph that deserves a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate... :P
Wow! Rob that's one heck of a scene. I'm trying to think of what to say, and the words evade me. The scene would be gorgeous without the dappled sunlight and the laye of cloud, but when you add those elements and the fabulous shading at the bottom border (Where did that come from?) it make a lovely work of art. I wish I could vote on this image, my friend.
