..this, for me, was an interesting cocktail of color, shapes and textures. Hard/soft, man-made/nature, lines/curves, light/shadow.

This is exceptional. The capture and angle given to us here is awesome. The overall picture is lovely with lots of detail and things to be seen. This works well for a desktop too. Great work here from you. I am pleased!!

Hi Rob! I like the light/shadowing in this also. I will be posting one with light and shadowing tomorrow, but flowers of course, lol.

Great acuity and colours. Framed well with the curve of the bridge reaching each edge of the picture. Personally, it would have been even better without the clutter around the right side of the bridge by the water - foam/sticks? That reduces the symmetry of the image. but nice stuff !!!

Richard .. thanks for your suggestion about the clutter. The unfortunate part, at times, is that nature doesn't co-operate by presenting the ideal. The snow is a hint to the water temperature which also approximates my reluctance to wade-in to clear the little jamb. ;)
