Roadside Arizona. Saguaro Cactus with a couple of it's nesting buddies nearby. Gila Woodpecker and the Gilded Flicker make their home in the Saguaro Cactus by chiseling out small holes in the trunk.

Can't beat that AZ sky, and the placement of the light clouds directly behind the cactus was really nice. Pretty pic of a Pretty Day.

You've documented a really interesting piece of the desert ecology. What better place for a bird to raise babies than way up a spiny saguaro? Great shot!

There certainly is a great deal of sky in AZ! Everywhere you look, there it is!
