Parc Guell, Barcelona, Spain, summer 2007. Designed by Antonio Gaudi between 1900 and 1914, it is a vivid example of the avant-garde Catalonian architect's flamboyant and bold imagination and style. Gaudi is the same architect who designed and started the construction of 'La Familia Sagrada' (Sacred Family) church around 1882 (still going on).

Beautiful! Very unique perspective and lines, and the people in the middle serve to give it scale. Keep up the good work!

This is incredible, makes me feel a bit off balance. The clarity is superb and the details in the rock are great.

I wasnt sure what I was going to see before opening up your image, but the first word that came to mind when I saw it was WOW! I have never seen anything like this before, and find it amazing, and also awe struck how they manage to design such a thing. I agree with curiousgeorge57 that it was a good job you caught the people in the shot, just to get the scale of the place, without which, it would have been difficult to imagine the size. Well done and definately one for my favourites! Well done!

I have always wanted to visit Spain, this gives me all the more reason. ppigeon (Pierre) also shared some images of Gaudi's work a while back. A wonderfully gifted architect! Good comp here, it has a great DOF and shows the detail well.

Very beautiful. Thanks for including some people. Architecture can be very sterile without them. Excellent perspective and DOF.
