The pussywillows' spring blooming signals the awakening of beauty to me. Hope you enjoy this 2nd shot of my small series. Thank you for your views and comments.
They stand out against the gray tree bark. As a child, I found it fascinating that they were called pussy willows, but they were soft and furry, kind of like a rabbit's foot. Nice detail in the shot, Stan, and it's good to see you out and about taking photos.
This has a 3D look to it. The clarity is super and I like the vignetting again, too. That may have something to do with the 3D look, I'm not sure. Fantastic nature shot, Stan.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Lovely colors, textures and contrasts. They seem perfectly complimented by the grey tones of the background tree. Spring blooms are so temporary, thank you for sharing it.
AVATAR BY PJ............... i've been so bad about commenting on your photos. believe me when i say i look at them all. feel free to NOT comment on mine. Please Visit My Gallery
They are lovely Stan. Pussy Willows have always seemed so mysterious. The lighting on these shows them off perfectly. Glad You are back and hope You are feeling better.
The image works very well overall as noted by Elizabeth's; aka allisontaylor words above.
You've filled the frame with lots of interest.
And there is great balance between that of the background (good good DOF ... which in turn, serves to heighten the visual impact) and your subject matter ... the pussy willows themselves.
An outstanding photo, Stan! I love the composition and the light in this shot. Wonderful detail, as well, and very pleasing, natural colors. Nicely done!
