I may have mentioned that a rose died over the winter in one of my rosebeds. My wife suggested I plant another type of flowering plant there to kind of break things up a bit. We saw this lovely plant at the local nursery and home she came with me. Pink Jewell is her name and she does have some pretty bloom smiles. Not really pink to my eye, more light purple or lavender but pretty all the same. Hope you enjoy the bloom smiles as well. :)

Such delicate pedals and such lovely pastel colours in the flowers, really like the presentation and effects of the darkened surroundings. Beautifully done

Beautiful colors and lighting in this capture.
Jewel is very striking against the brick , the stone and the driftwood. Excellent choice of framing.

Variety is the spice of life, Stan.

Although these flowers are wonderful, think that they even more accentuate the beauty of the roses in your garden.
I think that your wife has given you a very good advice!

Thanks for another wonderful image!

Regards, Cornelius.

They are very pretty, and have a beauty in their own right, but I hope they don't get too jealous of your gorgeous roses. LOL. Excellent shot, Stan.
