I do a frozen food delivery route for a living and I put in a lot of hours. This I have thought keeps me from having time to explore my passion of photography. I have decided recently to start taking my camera with me and do a series of pictures out of my truck which I call "About the Route". Well this is the first of my experiment. This is at one of my amish homes that I deliver to and I was struck by the peacefulness and the color of the sky against the barn.... Your comments on this images and thoughts of what I'm attempting to do will be more than appreciated.

I like the shot. The one thing that strikes me is that the practical Amish would block access to the hayloft door with an awning. Us old farm boys notice things like that, LOL!

I am a fan of country shots like this, and you have a beauty here. The composition and colors are exceptional, and that sky is amazing. I can't wait to see more from your route.

What a lovely shot, the barn is so well taken care of and I love the wagon or buggy in the front of the barn, and sky is so nice too. I try to bring my camera with me where ever I go and if I forget I always see something I would have love to shot. I can't wait to see more.

What a lovely clean looking place! Taking your camera is always so good. I take mine always also. And as everyone knows, I take most of my photo from out of my Cougar. I don't do a lot of walking, but sometimes I can. I got one of those GorillaPod tripods now and use it to steady the camera on my window at times. Works great. I like your idea of keeping an eye out for the things on your Route..this is so pretty.Verena

Every time I close the door on reality it comes in through the windows.
