Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas
The boulders in foreground are perfect. I can imagine sitting on them enjoying the view which is marvelous. I am sure either you or who was with you took a photo of someone on the boulders. Maybe we will see?? Nice post and I love the blues.
