Great shot and I believe I detect a slight touch of FDR. Most people call it HDR. It really makes it come alive Susanne. Very nice post.

A beautiful old oak. Love the imagery of the tall straight trees surrounding it. As if they know their place. Lovely sky.

Ah, could the snow be finally gone? That is a wonderful old tree. I think I see faces in the trunk. I like the bit of blue from the sky in there. Good color.

Oak trees always seem to have character during any season. The lighting is perfect as it casts a glow on the tree branches. Wonderful capture Susanne.

The oak tree looks very impressive among all the straight growing pine trees. Nice shot Susanne with that sky for a backdrop.

That tree looks like it might come to life and scare the bijivees out of some unsuspecting visitor to that woods. LOL. Very nice shot, Susanne. I love the lighting, and the colors in this.

I absolutely love this time of year, with everything about to burst back into life. This gnarled old oak tree is very well observed, and I like the golden light you've got shining on the moss underneath it too.
