I love the dark and light in this shot and the sky is stunning.I also love how you have the sunshine in the back of the scene too.

This will be a good entry for the contest Susanne. The derelict house looks empty and lonely especially in that lighting.

It makes a good contest entry Susanne. I like old houses and barns.

That's a great looking old structure. Before entering this in the Emptiness contest, you better check to see if some of my relatives are living there. LOL. Very nice work, Susanne.

Nice capture, I like the way you can just see the light coming through the window on the other side of the house.

A nice contrast to contemplate. An abandom house and a yard that has been kept cut.

I like the feeling in this... So dark, and (obviously) haunted. And yet I can see through the trees that there's plenty of light in the background. Wonderful shot!

About to fall down, but not before you have masterfully captured the details in the darkness.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . I like the dark lighting, adds to the mood. Interesting that you can see through the house in places. The glowing fields beyond are a nice contrast.
