Not for eating (poisonous) but for viewing. This colorful fungus gives some color to the ground. Hope you enjoy.

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

Beautifully captured, Susanne. Hard to get mushrooms without getting down on the ground and you did so quite successfully. Can I ask what lens you used for this shot? Thanks.

This photography is stunning, with great natural colours. I also like the composition and light on the fungi head too. This is one of my favorite fungi, very fairy tale looking.

Very well done.

A great closeup, Susanne! I love the vibrant color. This mushroom has a certain menacing aspect, but as you said, it's just for looking. Nicely done!

It's difficult to get the broad dome of mushrooms and toadstools all in focus, so you deserve high credit for doing it so well with this shot. Having said this, unfortunately the shot looks a little underexposed and seems to have a slight yellow cast. If you have Photoshop, I would suggest right-clicking the image and choosing the option to open it in the Adobe RAW editor (even if it is a JPG file and not a RAW file) and using this to increase the exposure and tweak the colour temperature. Hope this helps.
