This is the home of the Elves, Trolls and the Wood nymph so the legend tells us. When visiting places like this you better be careful and not disturb them or destroy there environment. That is what the stories tells. Is there any truth to this? What do you think? :-)

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

I think that if you smoke a pipe they won't come near you. This is a beautiful scene well captured with all the reflections and the rocks.

Such a peaceful capture and gorgeous setting. I see it's a very quite neighbourhood with the grave stone in the background. What a wonderful place to just go, sit on a rock enjoying the sounds and beauty of the surroundings

I believe in fairy tales since my late mother told me the first one. This hasn't changed up till now, so I take both your narrative and fine accompanying image for granted, Sussanne, lol.

Thanks for this very fine post.

I would have tossed in a rock to find out if making ripples was a problem Susanne. It would have made for a good shot too. Although it might have been your last.
Wonderful.

Such a beautiful place. Truly does look mystical and magical. Cast your deepest wishes out into the still waters. Let them ride upon a blown kiss..... Truly special this is.

I can see why they hang out here. It is so magically delightful. And, of course, I believe that they are there. I'm not a skeptic when it comes to the jinn and the 'wee' folk.

Susanne - I say, let such a pretty spot be - the trolls and people will be better for it. Lovely capture. Thad
