This tasty mushroom was growing on the side of the path among Heather in bloom. I picked it and others and me and my family had a nice meal in the evening.

Mushrooms are always delicious ... I like mine on a salad. I love the color contrasts & the detail is wonderful. Superbly captured, Susanne.

What a tasty find this one was, I'm a big fan of them fried nice and crispy, or added to scrambled eggs is very good too.

Hope that this is an indication that things go better now.
The only 'shrooms' that I eat are the ones that can be bought in a supermarket, as the risk for me is too high to think that a species is edible but however turned out to be a poisoning one. You must be an expert to know to be sure not to make a mistake in this matter.
