I thought the texture of the bark was interesting...and I like green.

Love this image. The bark *is* interesting, and I like the way you framed it. The forest (?) background looks bucolic too, and oh yes - I like green too. 9/10 for the good image but the out-of-focus background makes it unsuitable for a desktop. Damned shame that that has to be one of our criteria.

Thanks. As far as depth of field goes, it's hard to do much using a large aperture.

I like this one a lot. The out of focus background doesn't really bother me. The bark is definitely very interesting. I'm a totall sucker for green, too!

i disagree 100% with regmar. I think the blured background lends itself better to a desktop as that is where the icons all go. Great shot. It reminds me alot of one i took aswell.
