Photo was taken in NYC using a disposable camera. Makes me wish I'd had a digital on me. The editing was done in PS.

Try to put well in practice what you already know. In so doing, you will, in good time, discover the hidden things you now inquire about. -- Me Nature's beauty is created by God, and we are but only blessed when He allows us the opportunity to capture His moment on canvas -- Me

this color / B&W effect suits pretty well : the baby is colourfull, which makes an excellent contrast with the dull B&W background. Talking about the background, i think the picture would have been "more perfect" if it had been more "interesting", i mean less empty ; and it is a pity to cut the bench this way (a bit harsh, violent with the 2 guys sitting on it) .
Is the kid looking toward us, or rather on our left side ? ...

I'm criticizing, but i know you cant MAKE the scene the way you want it to be... Capturing a baby like you did is a great art ! ;-)
