Real good concept and decent render. Looks good at 800x600, but higher resolutions are grainy. A little disappointed with 1280x1024 resolution. Trees don’t look like real pine trees (more like a Bob Ross student putty knife tree) and the mountains appear a little too cartoony. Green and yellow pastels are not sky colors and mixing with pink will cause cartoonyism to a work of such great potential. I don't mean to sound so hard, but I am a painter at heart, not a computer applications expert. So, I believe the tools we use to produce art ought to do just that; produce art. You have many good ideas and works in your gallery, but don't settle for just rendering good ideas, make them the art you are capable of.
it is a little grainy but i love it anyways, its a really pretty scene, i love tampered-with snow at the very bottom, it shows depth and makes it not so "perfect" like in alot of computer generated landscapes everything always seems so straight, like the horizons are always almost too straight, if that makes sence. lol good job!
I think you are capable of more.this is a good and sincere effort; try to play to your strengths which appear to be sensitivity to light and line.it has a Japanese feel to it and perhaps that is where your talent lies.
