I am really not sure if the border helps or hinders. I thought it added a classy touch, do you agree?

I guess I'm a tradionalist at heart, as I think I would like the framing better if it was either a deep, rich green ( my first choice ) or black. As for your image, it's very serene & lovely, a little less dew & it would have a more zen like appeal . As it is, it has just the right amount of moisture without being overwhelming. Sometimes it's the simpler images that have the biggest appeal, & here it's true. Very well done.

I love this! Beautiful macro and I, personally, love this frame...I think it really draws the viewer to the grass. Nice work! Wen

I love the subject matter! And I feel same way, I would prefer it in black framing or no framing....I love the kris kross effect of the one leaf over the other and therefor there is such a wonderful shadow and I think thats why I would like to see the black frame...to bring out that shadow and draw the richness of it all out even more..I also like very much that fine line with the "signature"...can ya leave that? maybe in silver? to match the dewdrops? In any case. this is a very elegant image Sam!! Bravo!!!

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Marvelous shot with this cristal clear dew drops.
I agree that that border has a classy touch, but still ( but thats personaly ) like to see photo's without borders.
But that isn't always possible...so this is a good solution in m.h.o.

I love the border . As use of a wallpaper i always like borders and as a pic i like it because it enhances the green.
Gergeous pic btw , great focus.

True art, very good!
Did you also try this with a high diaphragma number to get more of the picture focused?
I just wondered what effect that might have.
I think the color scheme is perfect.

I'm in full agreement with your choice of border. It tones down that neon background green and it's a good strong contrast. Just the right tone choice too. I would not have gone any lighter or darker. I would have preferred the entire top leaf in focus though I do enjoy what is in focus and the health of the grass.

I'm a big fan of simple, clean macro shots. This is definitely one of them. I think the border helps, maybe if it was smaller it wouldn't be so dominating?

This is a very nice and clean shot! Very good sharpness, especially the water drops. What camera and lens did you use? I do really like this photo, itīs a favourite! Well done.

Everything goes fine, believe me! If life itsself is tough, then fight back. You have nothing to loose, just anything to win. Look at it from the bright side, no worries!
