OK hopefully this won't prove too easy... can you guess what this is? It is a photograph, unaltered except for autolevels and some increase in color saturation. Have fun...
You took this shot side ways...the red is a cloud...the rest I don't know...the light blue is the sky...and the other i have no idea what it is. did i get anything right?
Lovely shot, dragged me straight in for a closer look! I think I found this growing on my kitchen skin once! no seriously! im not saying its a biological death trap in there, but only becauses it might have already have developed rudimentary intelligence and has been secretly hi-jacking the router to browse my every post on caedes! Actually i like the way your thinking Andrew, I can sure see what your suggesting the sky clouds and some sort of growth of some sort, in fact the reason i looked at the image was it looked like it so much that it reminded me of the skys and flowers of the artwork of David Carson when produced the CD cover and photography for NiN's album 'The Fragile'
ohhhh it MUST be caviar!! yupppppppppppppppp.....gotta be! yummmmm!
I tell ya this tho.........you have got SOME kind of imagination goin' there! Goodness! I know you a bit on the "wild" side now for sure!! LOL
Hey Sam, that's definetely the most interesting subject of the day, haha...
It looks like something mouldy to me..that was my first guess. Or something inside an aquarium. When will you tell us... ???
this is my second post here.. i've stared at it for long enough to get a sore neck... all i know is that all the white hair like thing ends with the black dot... or maybe the white hair thing starts off as the balck dot thingy.
so i think its some kinda organic thing possibly a plant sprout or a mould... the heavy concentration of the black is where it originated and the scattered black dots are where is spread to.
lol this seems like a pointles observation cause i still got no clue as to what the heck it is.
I know what it is..........................gross! I cannot look at it for one more minute. Everyone, run for your life!!!! It is alive and you are the next victim. It looks yucky and I am pretty sure it will be yucky..it looks like one of my kid's goldfish when they put it under their microscope..........dead!
Graeme, I believe this *thing* has above average rudimentary intelligence (now that is an oxymoron)...hehe
It is indeed mould as a few people guessed. It was growing in a tub of Ricotta cheese that stayed in the fridge for a bit too long. You can see the white plastic in the background. The mould "base" is on the left (the "dots" are the spores on the end of each "hair") and some nasty looking cheese on the right. Thanks to all who took a stab!
Blech! I was happier when I thought it was poppyseed dressing. Lol. Very nice shot from something so nasty though. I agree with tbhockey, it looks like something in space.
You just love being the one with the knowldge and making every one else guess.I just hope it's not some whicked skin condition you have. Hehehehehehehhe!
First, ick. Now that that's out of the way it is facinating and reminds me of another site I visit where they show micro photography done through microscopes and even electron microscopes. It's amazing how many molds, virus, cells, and bacteri are really beautiful. It's how I plan to spend at least four grand out of my future lottery winnings.
